If you follow me on Youtube, then you know that I’ve struggled with acne, blackheads, acne scarring and the whole shebang. I’m at a place where I’m comfortable in my own skin and really happy with the changes I’ve seen, even though I am nowhere close to where I want to be. I thought to share 5 products worth investing in to get better-looking skin.
Toner
The results that I have gotten with the Good Molecules Niacinamide brightening toner is one I am yet to see with other brands. This toner has literally been a game-changer. It contains naturally derived arbutin which has helped tremendously with fading my acne scars and really brightening up my skin and the niacinamide helps with my enlarged pores and uneven skin tone. Which is such a steal for the price. I tend to use it both morning and night and I’m fast running out, so I will be needing to restock soon.
Moisturizing Serum
I love a good moisturizer and I love one that contains one of my favorite skin ingredient, Hyaluronic acid! Even though I have oily skin, I find it important to really lock in that extra moisture and the CeraVe Hydrating Hyaluronic Acid Serum is one that I have been enjoying in recent times. If you want youthful, supple skin then stop snoozing on Hyaluronic acid and jump on it real quick. I love using the CeraVe Hydrating serum during the day and layering it with other skincare products.
AHA Resurfacing Night Serum
The Farmacy Honeymoon Glow is the truth! I can’t find another product that has all the amount of goodness that this product. Hyaluronic acid, Glycolic acid, Salicylic acid, Lactic acid; all the things I need to get a better glowing skin and the result that I got even after a week of just using it is unbelievable. It exfoliates, hydrates, reduces fine lines, wrinkles and hyperpigmentation and these are all the things I need. I use it only at night though.
Vitamin C
Have you noticed that I am slightly obsessed with products that have hyaluronic acid? Yes I am and the Olehenriksen Banana Bright Vitamin C Serum with 15% vitamin C is a recent addition but has fast worked its way up my product favs. I stopped all products for 7 days to see how this would look like on my skin and trust me I was glowing. It Brightens, improves skin elasticity and improves dark spots. It’s now part of my morning ritual.
Cleanser
I’ve had the Skinfix Barrier+ Foaming Oil Cleanser for a while now and have been in an on/off relationship with it. by the way its currently on! and I have been loving the results I get when I use it. Its such a gentle cleanser and I love how foamy it gets when it takes off my makeup and dirt from my skin, I love that it is also hydrating. I don’t get that nasty dry face that ends up damaging your skin more than helping it. If you are ever looking for clean beauty products, then this should be your first stop because, its 98% naturally derived and free from harmful chemicals that are on their “No List.”
