Its starting to warm up in Toronto and the first day of spring is always exciting. As exciting as it is, its hard to plan outfits to match the weather. Some days are warm and other are a bit brisk and layering without over doing it is an art which I am still trying to master.
Here are three ways to style a satin dress during the brisk days and the warmer days. These pieces are casual, chic, effortless and suitable for everyday wear to casual hangouts.
SILK DRESS WITH A BASIC WHITE TEE
For warmer days a basic white Tee can be a perfect addition to your dress. Pairing it with a nice white sneakers makes it comfortable and casual, perfect for casual meet ups with the girls.
SATIN DRESS WITH TURTLE NECK
Not all days in spring are warm and to make sure your dressed for the occasion a perfect turtleneck would make all the difference from feeling under dressed to perfectly covered. Boots are still in during spring and a nice Chelsea boots can also take your look from basic to chic and comfortable.
SATIN DRESS WITH OVERSIZED BLAZER
For days that are in-between, a perfect oversized blazer is a nice addition to your look, if you get warm then you can easily take it off and if its cold its right there to keep you warm. Pairing this look with Chelsea boots makes it chic and effortless. One thing to note when buying blazer is to go one or two sizes if the blazer isn’t already oversize.
