Looking for date night outfits can be a little daunting, well here’s some good news for you – date night outfits don’t have to be complicated and can still look nice even though we are having most date nights at home.
Making an effort is key to date night and so should your outfits, chances are you don’t have to go and buy any new outfits as you probably have most of these items in your closet.
When it comes to date be it indoors or out, I’m more into comfort and stylish, focusing on key pieces that help make your look cool, yet feminine.
Some of my go-to items for date night are
COMFY FOOTWEAR
I have a pair of black Chelsea boots that are comfortable yet add a chic effortless touch to your outfit. This works perfectly if we plan on doing any walking because they are comfy. My current boots are from Callitspring, I snagged a pair in brown too. ( All looks featured these boots )
A NICE CLUTCH OR CROSSBODY BAG
A nice clutch can elevate your look, but for most days I choose comfort by wearing a crossbody bag. My crossbody bag can fit the bare necessities; my phone, a gloss and credit cards and ID.
STATEMENT JEWELRY
I love dainty barely there Jewelry. My go-to is my Mejuri pendant necklace which is lightweight and goes with every outfit. Most nights I’m happy to wear a nice pair of gold earrings which are also very comfortable to wear, these are from Nordstrom and add a dressy factor to my simple look
A NUDE LIP
If I must wear a lipstick it will have to be nude lip combo, whether it’s day or night I find it easy to wear. I’m all about minimal efforts when it comes to my look and my current favourite combination is NYX lip pencil in Hot Chocolate and Uoma beauty Lipstick in Angela
